Unfortunately:
-I no longer need to buy a vehicle
-It has the same issues as many of the others I looked at, no 4x4.
BUT I CAN DREAM

When I was in HS my buddy had one of these with a 350 in it. Many fun times were had.

I nearly bought one that had been swapped. Burnt Orange paint, vented hood etc.
I wanted 4wd though...

4x4 is just more stuff to break. Fill the bed with ballast (concrete blocks or a snowmobile should do the trick) and call it a day. This could also give you a good reason to buy a snowmobile if you don’t already have one. Also, good to see some more Ontario folk on here.

I forgot to include the whole reason I replied. That colour combination is absolutely glorious. I love that toffee/mustard colour in the middle.

But, S10. I read up on this before I pulled the trigger on one, and they are especially terrible in snow. Our own Mazda616 will back me up on that, I think. His 4x4 let him down and he had to leave it behind.
Besides, 4x4 is fun. Find New Roads. Or rather, old abandoned roads. Or lack of roads. All in a small light package that’s fun to drive. I honestly think a small pickup with 4x4, extended/crew cab and a good engine is the best all-round vehicle you
can
could get if your the kind of person that can’t make up your mind what your idea of fun in a vehicle is. Which is why I ended up with
this
.

Nice, I like the Colorado’s. My first ever vehicle was a 1987 Dodge Ram 50 4x4 regular cab (also amazingly known as the Mitsubishi Mighty Max). It was super tiny but an absolute blast to drive in the snow so I see what you mean about wanting the 4x4 for more than practical reasons. I couldn’t get that thing stuck if I tried.
